I get off the metro at around 4:18 every day at Shady Grove and I see you playing. I always put my ipod on pause to listen. You're very talented! Gotta admit though, I'm always hoping you'll play a little James Taylor. Maybe one of these days! Rock on, Ron.

Hi. I ran across your post on the teen suicide page on fb. Your voice is amazing! Being one of an older generation, until a few months ago, I had no idea how horrible teen suicide had become.Every new story I see of another young person taking their own life for any reason, absolutely sickens me.I look back upon my childhood, being raised in the Heart of what people call the "Bible Belt" I CLEARLY recall what I was taught and read in and about the Bible. Is it not true that a "True Christian" does not pass judgement of Any kind??? Is it not true that a "True Christian" is supposed to PRAY FOR others to find the guildance they need to successfully make it through their struggles and become a stronger, better and more confident person??? Did I miss something?? Am I the Only person out of millions that got this message??? Maybe I am. I can proudly stand alone and say this; I Do believe in God and the Bible and everything being a Christian stands for! I also believe that as a Christian, it is my Honor to help in any way possible any struggling Human Being, regardless of ANY personal OPINIONS I might or might not have concerning their chosen path! Each and Every one of us Will stand before our chosen God when the time comes! That God will have only one interest. What did I (meaning myself) do to make the life of every one I met BETTER??? How did I Help the Person Who Needed My Help??? Shamefully I must admit, If we as individuals put as much effort into picking apart ourselves as we do in picking apart others, What Would We Find??? Thank You so much for allowing me to vent. God Bless...
Until you have walked in My shoes... do not pass judgement on me...for you have no idea what I have been through or who I am...This is My Story

Your blog was sent to me by a friend. In music, I love Classical; Beethoven is my musical god although I do love all the others. My sister plays the guitar and I enjoy listening to her sometimes. I would like to comment on the teen suicide; perhaps our younger brothers would be more able to handle prejudice if the gay community itself was more compassionate and more helpful. I thought that I would have friend after friend when I came to accept who I was; but I found that there was nothing but antagonism, hatred and complete avoidance of me and my love. The men I wanted wouldn't have anything to do with me, while I was raped twice. The gay community needs to change; I have lived in Ryan's area for 10 years, and Chicago is not a great place to be if one is gay; there is only fake sentiment, fake love and fake appreciation. Write to me if you want; I am a poet as well as a teacher; would you like to see some of my work? Your songs are gentle and easy to listen to.

@Turner: TURNER!!!!!! Where have you been, man!? HOW have you been? Good to hear from you. Miss you, man. I haven't been to Annapolis nearly as often this summer as last. My car blew up in January, so transportation is an issue. If you still have my phone number, call or text me, man. Take care. Oh, and good luck this weekend.
